Parents into school
 |
Parents
are invited to
come into school to
share Harvest
Assemblies,
Christmas
Nativity Play, Juniors
Class Plays and the
Year 6
Leaver's Play. |
They
are also invited to join us in church for the Juniors' Christmas
Service and the Infants' Spring Service and also Year 2 and Year
6 Leavers' Service at the end of year.
 |
Teachers
always welcome the essential help that parents offer with
practical activities such as helping the children study
wildlife in the school pond. |
Parent's Evenings
These
are held twice a year in the Autumn and Spring terms when
parents are invited to discuss the progress of their child with
the class teacher. It is also an opportunity for the parents to
view the child's work and the displays throughout the school. A
written report is sent home in the
Summer Term. S.A.T.S. results are sent to year 2 and year
6 parents. These national tests are taken in the Summer term.
Key stage 2 results are published nationally. We are
particularly proud of the results of both our key stage 1 and
key stage 2 tests. Both are well above the national average.
Parents
are encouraged to come into school and discuss problems, as they
arise, at any time throughout the year. The Head Teacher can be
available to see parents by appointment.
