The school offers ample opportunities for activities which ensure a full and varied life for the children. Some clubs take place during lunch times whilst others take place after school.

At present we offer the Juniors, Netball, Football, Rounders, Board games, Cricket, Athletics, Choir, Story Club, Recorders, Drama and Guitar.

Teams of Football, Netball, Cricket, Rounders and Athletics represent the school in competitive sporting events and tournaments within the district.

Year 2 children are offered a lunch time club. This works on a rotational basis of 1 term sessions. Children can choose from Board Games, Drama, Art, and Craft, Story Club and Outdoor skills.

Junior pupils are given the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument with tuition from the County peripatetic staff. They may join the Chester District Junior School Choir which meets at our school.
